Services at Fix Me

In traditional Chinese medicine, the body is seen as a delicate balance of two opposing and inseparable forces: yin and yang. Yin represents the cold, slow, or passive principle, while yang represents the hot, excited, or active principle. According to TCM, health is achieved by maintaining the body in a “balanced state”; disease is due to an internal imbalance of yin and yang. This imbalance leads to blockage in the flow of qi (vital energy) along pathways known as meridians. Meridians wrap the whole of the body in an interconnected matrix. Acupuncture and other treatment methods influence the direction and quality of Qi in meridians thereby improving the bodies function.

Your first visit involves getting a detailed picture of your health. This is gathered by using methods unique to T.C.M. practice and philosophy. Diet, and lifestyle recommendation are also included in this process.

At Fix Me, Acupuncture, shiatsu, tuina and other modalities are used together in each treatment. This treats whole person more effectively and allow me to address more as a therapist.
